GERRY & DENISE DIGNAN
Re-Enchantment of the World through Interactive Concerts.
Denise and Gerry Dignan lead gatherings in community singing – including World music, dance, and movement. With numerous instruments and our own vocal sound, we will deepen connectivity with one another as well as create a container for internalizing the concepts of the Social Artistry Institute. With both well-known and improvised songs birthed from the teachings and discussion of the seminar material, we will complexify, heighten, and celebrate the vision we hold for a possible society – and have fun in the process!

I continue to observe the workings of my body, thoughts, feelings, spirit and relationships with all around me. I value the few decisions I’m allowed to make and exercise my power of will to follow-through. My book, “Which You is You?” is progressing. I take time to read, travel, play ukulele, bike, act, sing, dance and occasionally kayak. I just retired after 30 years of teaching Wellness at LU.

No social artist or concerned citizen should be without this…”

I have been in study and training for the past 4 years to become a licensed spiritual practitioner through “The Centers for Spiritual Living,” also known as the Church of Religious Science or Science of Mind. I just passed the written exam and will be taking the oral panel on July 25th. With the help of Jan Sanders, I had a very successful “Intro to Social Artistry workshop”, here in Las Vegas, NV two years ago, and plan to have more in the near future. I play clarinet and soprano saxophone professionally and will include music in any workshop or venue, that I tackle with Social Artistry.

Trish Broersma practices social artistry primarily through two avenues:
With Journey Horse, Riding Beyond, and other teaching, she helps people discover how the mythic power of horses can lead them into their own uncharted mythic life, launching them with refreshed vigor, new sources of energy, and creativity for the life they have always yearned for. She also brings visual brilliance, through web and print design with Green Horse Graphics, to the deeper vision of those whose work seeks to make a positive difference in our world.
To see what Social Artistry has become for me, my new website at movingintentions.com is up and running. May most of your acts of Social Artistry be acorns that take root. For me, one of those roots is guiding a group to experience a Mayan program on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, January, 2016.

Title of Project/s: Musician, Facilitator, Healing Changemaker
With the stars in her eyes (and a guitar in hand), Katie Dutcher (also known as Katie Stellar) can usually be found working tirelessly to uplift, inspire and encourage those who cross her path to step more radically into living their dreams, being the change, and creating the world they want to see. A lifelong musician who only recently began writing her own music, Katie is a living example of the profound transformations that occur in our lives when we fully embrace the desire to know ourselves more deeply, and devote ourselves to calling forth a world that works for everyone. Her path in Social Artistry began two years ago in Ashland, when she took her Intro, met & experienced Jean Houston, and designed an Entelechy tattoo that now adorns her wrist, reminding her every day of the oak tree that resides within us all.
Katie currently resides in Austin, TX, where she works in fundraising, coordinates and teaches Social Artistry trainings, and plays her tiny part of the music that echoes in every wall, hall and corner of the city.
I produce Common Company, a mixed-media performance art community based in Dallas which provides space for sharing stories of transformation. We choose a new theme for each event, allowing ample time for creation and collaboration. We rehearse for our shows to develop one another’s artistic styles, and order the performances as a group such that they deliver an intention based on the theme. The community is currently supported by about twenty local musicians, poets, storytellers, writers, painters, graphic designers, and more.

I am the executive Director of The Flow Project and I am currently affiliated with both Woodring College of Education and the College of Fine and Performing Arts where I am the Director of the CREATE Program. My career spans over three decades of educational reform and school improvement primarily working with migrant and indigenous populations. My current research in Arts Based Leadership and Social Artistry has lead me to co-create and teach educational leadership programs at the YMCA International University of Social Sciences, Germany and currently at the University of Aruba, Aruba. I am working with the Arhuacan peoples of the Sierra Nevada Santa Martas and the Colomian government to develop a new model of indigenous education K-20 where Western Curriculum and Indigenous teachings will be integrated.
I am currently writing a book, culminating over thirty-five years of research and development. The working title is The Artist’s Touch: Reimagining the Story of Humanity. Since I retired from being executive director of The Flow Project, I have been drawn back into painting and drawing and have reconnected with the field of Jungian depth psychology. I present and teach internationally and, in the interstices, greatly enjoy gardening and grandchildren.
